Rich Goode, Executive Director, Climate Change and Sustainability Services; EY

Rich is an Executive Director in Ernst & Young LLP’s United States Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice with experience in developing and implementing environmental, health, safety and sustainability (EHS&S) programs at large organizations as well as expertise in carbon accounting, supply chain sustainability and strategy development. Rich has over 25 years of experience working in high technology and heavy manufacturing industries. Prior to joining EY, Rich was the Head of Global Sustainability for Alcatel-Lucent, a $20 billion manufacturer of information and communications technology equipment. In this role, Rich managed the company’s overall sustainability program for operations, including management of electronic waste, water, and greenhouse gas emissions. Rich has a BS from the University of Massachusetts, an MBA from Nichols College and completed a post-graduate program in sustainability and environmental management from Presidio College. Rich is an adjunct member of the faculty at Harvard University where he teaches a class on greenhouse gas emissions and corporate sustainability.
