Dr. Steve Mortenson, Associate Professor; University of Delaware
Dr. Steve Mortenson, is an associate professor, and an award winning teacher and researcher. He has taught at the University of Delaware since 2003. His research and teaching focus on cross-cultural communication, social support, emotional management, leadership development, and interpersonal effectiveness. He designs and conducts leadership seminars for the Blue Hen Leadership Program and the US. State Department’s international programs for young leaders in the Middle East (MEPI), and women from Sub-Saharan countries in Africa (SUSI). In addition to his academic work, he conducts seminars on effective communication for educators, pediatricians, psychiatrists, and licensed therapists.
