Ron Roberts is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and qualified Substance Abuse Expert (SAE). In his current role of Global Clinical Account Executive at Optum, he provides strategic guidance to his customer in the development and implementation of EAP, Work Life and workplace effectiveness programs across the business organization. He previously was Optum’s Director of EAP Management Consultation Services whereby he was responsible for clinical and administrative oversight for Optum’s suite of EAP workplace support services including Critical Incident Response Services (CIRS), management referrals, management consultation and on-site EAP solutions. He has worked in the behavioral health field for over 30 years with prior professional experience including in-patient and outpatient mental health services, community behavioral health case management and management of the after-hours Crisis Line for a managed care vendor. Ron earned his Bachelor in Social Work at Shippensburg University and his Masters of Social Work from Temple University.
