Mark Chrisos, Director, Environment, Health and Safety; Con Edison Clean Energy Business Inc.
Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses Inc. through its three mains subsidiaries, develops, owns and operates renewable and energy infrastructure assets and provides energy related services. Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses is one of the leading renewable energy providers in the Unites States generating clean, renewable energy using solar, wind and battery storage solutions.
As Director, Environmental Health & Safety for Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses, Mark is responsible for the EH&S program since 2013. This includes all environmental permitting activities, compliance, and all phases of operational safety across the renewable energy platform. Prior to Con Edison, Mark was the Director of EHS&S at InterGen for 10 years, responsible for the EHS&S program across 19 fossil and gas fired plants throughout the world. Mark has extensive permitting experience in the fossil fuel sector having also worked for Calpine and as an environmental consultant at Earth Tech.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety as well as his Master Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts.
